Chapter 23
This section is very interesting because it talks about how we humans are populating the world raptly. Now is this a bad thing or a good thing. We are also destroying the world natural resources in the ding this but we cannot say no to medical help to other people. The global industries for goods has also grown because so many people are populating the globe. This is good for companies but not good for mother earth just in the use of toilet paper for one human is a lot. The pollution of mother earth is still a big issue air quality in China is a great issue because big companies go to China to pollute it because they do not have any law against the environmental pollution. Unlike the USA which has the EPA and other people who will protect the environment until they can for ever. By looking at one of the maps I can tell that the Industrialized countries leave a bigger footprint of the world than thrid world countries we need to fix this. My dream is of a polluted free world.

Chapter 23
In this chapter my favorite section was on Che Guevara because in third world countries he is a hero. Even though the book refers to him as a failed revolutionary. Ernesto "Che" Guevara is a great symbol especially in Latin America because in those countries people are born into wealthy families. But most people are born in poverty and in these countries it does not matter how hard people work they cannot move up the latter, one education is not available for anyone only the elite have the opportunity to attend universities. Che was against the elite class he wanted an equal world for the Latin Americans, but the USA saw him as a threat. The reason was that Che was a communist based ideology and the USA hates communist. But it would of been great if Che did not believe in communism then a true revolutionary would of been born from him a successful one. In Latin America their needs to be a revolution, but the persons that actually wants to speak out only think about communistic revolutions. They see that the imperialistic nations need to keep them down, so the products can be cheap. Latin America needs a democratic revolution to overthrow all the dictating governments that exist and will keep to exist.
Chapter 22
The African National Congress picture is very interesting it shows the struggle that the people of South Africa. The second picture one on Vietnam kicking out the American army. The documents of the past is interesting because the idea of a secular Islamic religion has been thought about for years and here I thought it was a recent movement. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was one of these people with the innovation of a secular Islam in 1927. This was interesting because countries that are heavenly Islamic are behind in industrialization. If Ataturk would of keep going he would of changed the position of the Islamic countries. Ayatollah Khomeini is a very interesting politician because he made it seem like the country was moving toward a democratic republic. But when he says based on an Islamic rule is when he looses me. If the democratic republic is to work it need to be secular. This is why the European nations do not want Turkey to have the Euro currency. The most interesting document of reading is "From Islam to America" because it shows the oppression that some women suffer under Islamic rule, which were made up by men to dominate women. This oppression is what makes the Islamic religion look bad, but in reality it does not happen everywhere. And people should understand that.

Chapter 22
I really wanted to blog about the articles of the past the Russian side of communism maybe in the next life. I have to recognize Nelson Mandela because he fought for a free South Africa. I wish I had the courage that this man had maybe half of it and I would of gone protesting for occupied Oakland. Gandhi was also an incredible man because he inspired so many movements even the Civil Rights movement in the USA. I like the end of the empire section of the book, but the USA came into power after the Empire of Britain fell. I like how the American Revolution inspired the Mexican Revolution, which in my point of view they still need another one. Mexicans need to over-through the current government and establish a new one.
The empires that ended as well in were Germany and Japan after WWII. I feel that more people should read about Abdul Ghaffar Khan; he was a Muslim pacifist because a lot of people think that all Muslims are terrorist. The map on page 1106 is still accurate today, at least the part of Mexico it is still an authoritarian government. The only country that does not have an authoritarian government is Belize I did not know that. .
