Industrial Revolution
I have to say that I have become a sort of specialist when it comes to the topic of the Industrial Revolution because I have read the chapter three times. When it comes to presentation, I am a very shy person. The Industrial Revolution started in the UK because at the time it was the power of the European country. One of the greatest things of the Industrial Revolution is that in some sense it connects with us because it has the theory that things can be made better everyday. The revolution also had a couple of down sides to it, phrasing it nicely, the working conditions were horrible. They used little kids it get in the middle of machines and get things out of machines that were stuck. It was not a good idea to be a child during this time, especially one from a low income family because they had to provide for their family. furthermore children's death rate was so high because they would work in factories. The industrial revolution started the separation of social classes that is still alive and well today. The book inefficiencies the change but i really do not see the difference it just made easier for people with money to become aristocrats. I found it interesting why in the United States of America communism never took form and it was because unions never got heavily involved in politics. If not they believe the same thing would of happened in the USA as it happened in mother Russia. This was because the working conditions were horrible, I always think about people in the future what are they going to say of our era when they read it in the text book. Because I always ask the question, I cannot believe we made it this far. The industrial revolution started the man era, but it has also started the extinction of mother earth.
